Lieve Prins and the FC Cover
Art
Rob saw some of Lieve Prins artwork
in an Italian art magazine
he picked up to read on a flight home from Europe. Her work
was cool and original so we contacted her and faxed the lyrics
to the title song, Fully Completely.
One weekend during the Fully sessions
at Battery Studios in
London, Lieve came over from Amsterdam. The folks at Canon
UK delivered her modern easel ?a monster of a photocopier,
and we spent the weekend in make-up and body paint with our
faces on the glass plate of the copy machine.
A month later Lieve produced the final poster, which is about five
feet by five feet and consists of 24 sheets of A3 paper (8" by
13").
We still think it is an amazing piece of work.

Lieve Prins is one of a small number
of highly respected artists
working in the field of Electrography (copy-machine art). Most of
her work is now done on a Canon 200 Color Laser Copier. Lieve
continues to create amazing copy-art. If you are ever in Amsterdam
you should be able to find a gallery that shows her work.
