We have played numerous gigs in Detroit over the years. Detroit is a great rock town. Aside from Cobo Arena, we've really enjoyed doing shows at Chene Park and the Royal Oak Theatre. The following are some interesting tidbits about Detroit. Detroit, the oldest city in the Midwest, was founded in 1701. Named according to its location at the Detroit River it was called the "City of the Strait" (Ville d'Etroit) by the French trader and explorer Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac.
