I was introduced to The Tragically Hip in the early 90s when visiting a friend. I heard this amazingly beautiful song that instantly struck a chord. That song was Long Time Running. I was hooked. When Fully Completely came out I bought the tape as soon as I could; in fact, it was my first cassette. I listened to the tape over and over, my favourite song from this album being Pigeon Camera (it still is). Not only did The Tragically Hip set the bar for amazing music, but raised the bar with each albumn. The lyrics are thoughtful, Gord D\'s voice is uniquely soulful, and the music is that which brings forth good vibes. The best Canadian band. There is no such thing as a cottage experience without The Hip being the soundtrack. Looking up at the stars in Bobcaygeon and listening to the song with its namesake instantly connected me with the band in that time, moment, and space. Long drives = The Hip setting the stage for a good time. In all honesty, there haven\'t been many experiences where The Hip wasn\'t the soundtrack. With the Fully Completely tour, everything came back full circle from the time era where I bought my first cassette. I sang loudly to every song played. It was the best time I had in a long time. Thank you so much for creating amazing music that has been associated with so many life experiences and great memories for the last 16 years. I truly hope that I am able to get tickets in order to give you the proper send-off. If all tickets are sold within the first few minutes, I hope that a video will be made for those of us fans who weren\'t lucky enough to get tickets in time. Thank you for the last 15 years. Every album you have made has been gold. In A World Possessed By The Human Mind is genius. Much love.
