Lots of great memories of

Lots of great memories of Hip shows in the Chicago area, but anyone lucky enough to get into any of the 4 night stand at the sweatbox known as Martyrs got to be part of something truely special. I was at night one, which was the first time I was graced to a Grace Too opener. Got up to the second row, which considering they only probably rolled back 15-20 rows deep wasn't very difficult. I was so blown away from the performance, I came back the next night without a ticket although I had to fly out of town at 6:30 the next morning. I was joined by about 7-10 fellow hipsters, and listened to the first 4-5 songs outside the club. It wasn't looking good for any cheep scalping, so I almost bolted when the bouncer opened the door and signaled us in. A gift from the heavens as the Hip played another fantast set that was almost totally unique from the night before. Seen a few bafore and many since, but the Martyr's shows were the ones for the book.N/A
