Ah the Memories!!!As a Military technician,

As a Military technician, Kingston was my second home in 1986-87. My friends and I practically lived at the Lakeview Manor and the best nights were when the Hip tore the house down. There were other good bands in town at the time, Molotov Cocktail comes to mind (I wonder what ever happened to that band) but the Hip owned Kingston. I had the opportunity to be stationed in Panama City, Florida for 4 yrs, and started a band down there. Ironically we played a place called the Toucan in Mexico City Beach all the time. One of the most popular songs we played was New Orlenes is Sinking. It never failed that someone would come up and ask me about it. Hopefully I turned on a lot of people onto the Hip. Keep it going guys! Giorgio N/A
